It has been just over a week now since we took home the Innovation of the Year and Business of the Year awards at the 2016 Express & Echo Business Awards, but the buzz around Van Guard HQ is still buzzing.

Unfortunately, only a few of us could actually attend on the night, but we would not have been in a place to be considered for these awards if it was not for the entire Van Guard team!

With this in mind, we wanted everyone at Van Guard to join in the celebrations, so we commissioned Crafty Cakes to create a special cake for the occasion, opened the bubbly, chinked glasses and all gathered together for a team photo.

Missing from the photo was Barry, our MD, as he was in Mauritius celebrating a family wedding, but he did rush back as he couldn’t wait to get his hands on the awards. And that is exactly what he did, as the photo below shows :)

We are very proud of our family approach to business and delighted that we could share in the celebrations with everyone here. The awards are recognition for the hard work and dedication that everyone puts in. Cheers!
