Master Locksmith Association (MLA) - Membership
As we continue to grow our security range we understand the need to draw on the experience of specialists to enhance our products, ensuring they are the best on the market. We now have membership with the Master Locksmith Association (MLA) as affiliate members, demonstrating our long term commitment to the van security market.
The MLA are the UK’s largest non-profit trade association for locksmiths. Established in 1958, the MLA was founded by a group of like-minded individuals to set and promote standards of conduct, practice and materials within locksmithing.

Sold Secure - Accreditation
Sold Secure is dedicated to reducing the risk of crime by assessing security products through manual attack testing. Manufacturers can apply to have their products approved by Sold Secure and products that have been satisfactorily assessed may bear the coveted Sold Secure Approved quality mark. Sold Secure is administrated by the Master Locksmith Association.
Sold Secure have awarded the ULTILock Hooklock Gold Standard Sold Secure status. It is the only van hooklock on the market with this accreditation. Having the Gold Standard Sold Secure status reassures both fitters and customers that they are fitting a secure hooklock to their van.
To attain the Gold Standard, the hooklock was put through rigorous Sold Secure. Testing encompassed a number of popular break-in and brute force methods including: hammer and chisel, drill attack, snap as well as case manipulation, all of which it passed to Sold Secures Gold Standard.

Secured by Design – Membership and UltiLock Hooklock Accreditation
Secured By Design is owned by the UK Police Service with the specific aim to reduce crime and increase safety for businesses and individuals. Secured by Design is the only way for companies to obtain police recognition for security-related products in the UK, through a Police Preferred Specification. A scheme developed 20 years ago, the product-based accreditation scheme provides a recognised standard for all security products that effectively deter and reduce crime.
Becoming a member of Secured by Design demonstrates our commitment to designing and manufacturing products that meet the highest quality and security standards. Our ULTILock Hooklock has been awarded the Secured by Design accreditation, giving our customers the reassurance that their van is secured by a product that meets a Police Preferred Specification

Made in Britain – Membership
Made in Britain is a campaign designed to bring together the British manufacturing community, united with the use of the registered Made in Britain marque. The marque can only be used by members of Made in Britain who meet the set criteria to guarantee it is British manufactured.
Having been members of Made in Britain since 2014, it is imperative to us that our new products continue to be designed and manufactured under the made in Britain marque. Our product design is led by a talented team at our factory here in Exeter. Our aluminium extrusion for the ULTI Bars and pipe carriers is cut at the factory as well as the welding on our Maxracks, powder coating our bulkheads and punching out our grilles. We are proud to be part of the Made in Britain campaign and a British manufacturer.

Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) - Membership
The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders is the voice of the UK motor industry. It is one of the most influential trade associations in the UK. Its reputation, resources, and automotive data place it at the centre of the automotive industry. SMMT represent more than 800 automotive companies, enabling them to voice their views on issues affecting the sector, guide strategies and build positive relationships with government and regulatory authorities.

Cyber Essentials – Certification
The Cyber Essentials scheme provides five fundamental technical security controls that organisations need to have in place to defend against the most common form of cyber-attacks originating from the internet. These controls are then independently assessed for Cyber Essentials accreditation.
