This year, Van Guard has been supporting our local manufacturing community by setting up and sponsoring the Excellence in Manufacturing award, part of the Express and Echo Business Awards, Exeter.
Having won the prestigious Business of the Year in 2016, as a company we were really proud to be recognised for our achievements and we wanted to highlight other regional manufacturers contribution to the local economy and commitment to British manufacturing.
The judges had a tough choice to make at the recent judging day but we’re excited to announce we now have a shortlist:
The shortlist demonstrates just how varied the manufacturing industry is in the region. From the innovative creators behind avocado ice-cream to a full-solution plastic injection moulding firm, as well as leaders in wood burning stoves, Hunter Stoves to expert food manufacturers Taste of Sidmouth, Devon has it all.
The winner will be announced at a glitzy awards dinner on Friday 12th May at Sandy Park, Exeter.
