Long, thin materials are often required for jobs but can be difficult to carry around. That’s where the Van Guard Pipe Carrier comes in useful! If you need to transport pipes, conduit, fascias, or tile trims quickly and easily, our range of Pipe Carriers are made for the job. We manufacture both lined and unlined versions in a variety of sizes and lengths so that you can find the perfect one for your needs.

What is a Pipe Carrier used for?

A Pipe Carrier is used to transport copper pipes, plastic conduit, fascias and tile trims safely and securely on your van during transit. They can be used in many ways depending on the type of job you are doing.

If you're an electrician or plumber, then it is likely that you will need to transport copper pipes or white conduit from one location to another which wouldn't fit into your vehicle without being damaged during transit.

A pipe carrier will hold materials securely without damaging them whilst also allowing for easy access when you get to your job. They also have lockable end caps for additional security, so you don’t have to worry about opportunistic thieves.

Standard Pipe Carrier

The standard Pipe Carrier is available in 2m and 3m lengths and lined and unlined options. It stores approximately 36 x 15mm pipe tubes.

Maxi Pipe Carrier

The Maxi Pipe Carrier is the largest of our Pipe Carriers and can store approximately 60 x 15mm pipe tubes. It’s available in 2m or 3m lengths, lined and unlined options, and it's sometimes available in a limited edition black powder coat.

The Maxi Pipe carrier is perfect for those who need to carry larger amounts of pipes with them at all times – if you’re a plumber or work in construction, this may be your best choice.

2m Pipe Carrier

If you have a smaller van, the 2m Pipe Carrier is ideal. It is also ideal for vans with limited roof space where the Pipe Carrier may be stored in the load area of the van instead.

3m Pipe Carrier

If you have a medium or large van and want to store the Pipe Carrier on the roof, the 3m length is ideal. All of our Pipe Carriers are universal fitting, meaning they can be used on any van and any roof bar or roof rack.

Lined Pipe Carrier

A lined pipe carrier is a great option for those who want to protect their pipes from damage and discolouration. The lining stops marks on items such as white conduit, which can often be difficult to clean off. We were the first UK manufacturer to offer the lined option on this product!

Unlined Pipe Carrier

The unlined pipe carrier is the more affordable option and offers all the same features as the lined version, the only difference being it doesn’t have the rubber coating on the inside of the Pipe Carrier. If you want to keep things simple and don’t need to worry about scuffs or marks on the material, this is the right choice for you.

There are lots of different pipe carriers to choose from and it’s important you chose the right one for you. They’re built from exceptionally strong (yet light in weight) Anodised Aluminium extrusion, and allow plenty of room for all your materials and equipment. They are universal and can be fitted to any roof bar or the market. If you need roof bars, check out our ULTIBars.
